Must love Monopoly

Looking for a great gift for a friend, relative, or co-worker?  Why not try Monopoly!  I myself am what I like to call a passive collector of Monopoly games.  Basically I let people get them for me as gifts, buy them at yard sales, or get them from consignment shops and thrift stores.  It’s fun trying to collect Monopoly board games without being overt.

                Monopoly was created during the great depression to allow families to become titans of industry and captains of wealth, when in reality they were as broke as a joke.  Monopoly manages to accomplish all of this from the safety and relative comfort of one’s own living room.

                Ever since then Monopoly has exploded and now has 118+ varieties to include everything from Air Force Monopoly, Star Wars Monopoly, The Simpsons Monopoly, and even titles to reflect a more modern society, Monopoly Here and Now.

                All together Monopoly is a great game.(not to mention it is my FAVORITE board game)  Allowing children to manage their money and make “big brother” pay rent, watching friends strategically bankrupt each other, and even the closest of couples getting into…loving discussions of whose going to get boardwalk makes Monopoly an amazing board game and a grade A choice game nights at my house.
